1. About This Program

The Social Speech Hub ("the Program") is a virtual educational resource that provides interactive social skills practice activities for teens. The Program is operated by The Social Speech Hub LLC ("we," "us," "our"). By purchasing, accessing, or using the Program, you ("you," "your") agree to these Terms of Use.

2. Educational Resource — Not Therapy

The Program is an educational resource designed to support social skills learning and practice. It is not speech-language therapy, medical treatment, counseling, or any form of professional clinical service. No therapist-client, doctor-patient, or other professional-client relationship is created between you (or your child) and The Social Speech Hub or its creators through the purchase or use of this Program.

The content in this Program was developed by a multidisciplinary team of licensed school-based therapists and educators for educational purposes. However, accessing the Program does not constitute receiving professional services from those individuals.

If you have concerns about your child's speech, language, communication, or social development, we encourage you to consult directly with a licensed speech-language pathologist, therapist, or other qualified professional in your area.

3. Intended Use

The Program is intended for use by teens aged 12–18 and their parents or guardians (Family Plan), or by licensed professionals such as speech-language pathologists, therapists, counselors, and educators (Clinician Plan). By purchasing the Program, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age.

4. Payment and Access

The Program is offered as an annual subscription providing full access to all program content for 12 months. Your subscription will automatically renew each year at the same rate you originally purchased, until you cancel. You may cancel at any time; your access will continue through the end of your current billing period. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. If you experience technical issues accessing the Program, please contact us at hello@thesocialspeechhub.com and we will work to resolve the issue.

5. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized access to your account.

6. Intellectual Property

All content within the Program — including but not limited to activities, text, graphics, design, and code — is the intellectual property of The Social Speech Hub LLC and is protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any Program content without prior written consent. Clinician Plan users may use the activities with their clients as part of their professional practice but may not redistribute the content itself.

7. No Guarantees

While our Program is designed based on evidence-informed practices and professional experience, we make no guarantees regarding specific outcomes, improvements, or results from using the Program. Individual experiences will vary. The Program is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Social Speech Hub LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Program. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Program.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Program is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on our website. Your continued use of the Program after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
